2 - Baidu :
After google do you know which search engine is serving billion of search queries per month and currently ranked at 4 position in the Alexa Rankings.
It’s called Baidu, and it’s from China. In fact, the company is even referred to as “China’s Google.” It was founded in 2000 and increasing steadily.
3 - Bing :
Its is from Microsoft and it was founded to challenge the Google in the area of search. Bing is also a good search engine but not not beat the google in any aspect. It was launched in 2009
4 - Yahoo :
Yahoo was launched in 2011 and both yahoo and bing do not giving any competition to google
Yahoo is still the most popular email provider. Both Yahoo and Bing are giving competition to each other and and yahoo is not able to convince users in search engine areas. According to reports holds the third place in search.
5 - Ask :
It was founded in 1995 and its a question and answer based community where one ask the question and other user give the answer in terms of polls. It was know as Ask Jeeves. As per report Ask.com is not provide as better search result as compare to google, yahoo and bing .
6 - AOL :
AOL is still one of the top search engine as per netmarketshare and share the 1.11% share market . It is also known as America Online. It was founded in 1983 as control video corporation and in 2009 it become AOL after acquired by Verizon Communications for $4.4 billion, which turned it into a subsidiary.
Products and services of AOL network includes many popular web sites like Autoblog, techchrunch, Moviefone and the huffingtonpost.
7 - WolframAlpha :
WolframAlpha is a kind of computational knowledge engin. Is is different kind of search engine which provide the results in form of facts and data instead of webpages and list of document.
It is based on mathematica which was released on May 18, 2009 developed by Wolfram Research, which was founded by Stephen Wolfram
8 - duckduckgo :
It was launched in 25 Sep, 2008 and its slogans says that "The search engine that doesn't track you." so per them users can't be track for their searches and also it is not supporter ads and has a clear interface which is user friendly DuckDuckCo has many advantages over other search engines which make it different from them also it shows all the results on single page
9 - chacha.com :
As per wikipedia ChaCha was a human-guided search engine. and hold 8th position in the category of most popular search engine as per alexa. It is similer to ask.com means it is also based on question and answer polls and it provide the real time answers to any question The company, founded in 2006 by Scott A. Jones and Brad Bostic.
10 - Yandex :
Yandex is a Russia based search engine and it is the largest search engine in Russia with about 60% market share in that country. It was founded in 1997 and its most commonly used search engine in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Turkey.
Yandex also provide its services like mail, maps, online translator and etc.

Lycos is a search engine and web portal established in 1994. it provide the network services like email, webhosting, social networking, and entertainment websites.
